In addition to significant entrepreneurial experience, Jim has an extensive professional background in corporate finance, governance, operations, financial management, and all aspects of real estate investment including origination, underwriting, financing and asset management. This background has been developed through 15 years of board directorship in the non-profit sector, senior operational and financial management roles in small and mid-size enterprises, and as managing partner of multiple real estate investment partnerships. He has led corporate acquisitions, restructuring of debt and equity corporate financing, management buyouts, and implementation of multiple ERP and MRP systems in businesses ranging in size from $4 million to $200 million in annual revenue. Furthermore, Jim was educated in management accounting and earned a MBA in finance from Queen’s University.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Jim is an amateur musician and philosopher who finds his greatest joy exploring life with his wife Ange and their three children – Liam, Alethia, and Ronan.
